Job Duties:

Deliver high-quality tutoring sessions to students in various subjects
Develop tailored lesson plans based on students' learning needs
Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their understanding
Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Stay updated on educational best practises and subject matter knowledge

Required Qualifications:

Must be qualified teacher
Proven experience in tutoring or teaching
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong subject knowledge in the areas being tutored

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 6 months experience in tutoring or teaching role

Knowledge and Skills:

Ability to motivate and engage students
Proficiency in using educational technology
Organisational and time management skills
Adaptability and flexibility in teaching approaches
excellent relationship builder

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Education or related field
Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

Part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling
Work primarily in an educational institution or private tutoring environment
May require travel to student's homes or other locations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
