Are you an experienced Project Manager who has worked on projects over £12million in the Commercial sector. We have a new opportunity to join an exciting project!

Role: Project Manager
Location: Brighton
Contract type: Permanent
Start Date: End of May
Salary: £65,000 – £75,000

The company:

A Principal Contractor that undertake a variety of projects within the education, health, leisure, commercial and industrial Sectors. With a proven track record of delivering excellence and innovation with many of their projects coming from repeat clients delivering projects in excess of £15 million.

The Role:

The Project Manager will spearhead a new project that has been awarded within the leisure sector with a value of £14 million, taking on the project from demolition to handover.

Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks and resource requirements
Oversee the project budget – monitoring expenses and implementing cost saving measures where possible
Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets specified requirements and standards
Be the primary point of contact for all stakeholders including the client, architects, engineers keeping them informed of project progress, milestones and issues that may arise
Maintain accurate project documentation
Manage contract negotiations, agreements and procurement processes with subcontractors, suppliers and vendorsAbout you:

Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering projects in the commercial industry
Exceptional Communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive problem solving skills and attention to detail
Track record of successfully delivering Projects in excess of £10 million on time and within budget
Solid understanding of construction management principles
Sharp eye for detail and finishes
Excellent stakeholder management
