Job Description

Our client is a well-established and highly successful asbestos company who is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced Asbestos Lab Analyst to join their busy team/office based in or around the Hove area. The successful candidate will hold the P401 and have experience under-taking the analysis of asbestos bulk samples. Consideration will be given to applications from Crawley, Worthing, Horsham, Brighton and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

Must hold the P401 asbestos qualification.
Holding the P403 qualifications would be beneficial but not essential.
Previous experience of working in a laboratory environment within the asbestos industry.
Excellent communication skills.
Good attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft office package.

Responsibilities:

Receiving and appropriately logging samples received into the laboratory.
Preparation of samples for analysis.
Carrying out analysis of samples for content and reporting analytical findings.
Completing analysis test sheets.
Assisting with any other laboratory duties as required.
