Our client, an established and successful travel consultancy, are looking to recruit a personable, charismatic Travel Consultant to join their friendly and close-knit team in Brighton. As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring their clients receive a personalised, unique holiday experience like no other and must be passionate about the industry!

Responsibilities as a Travel Consultant
Managing enquiries and reservations from the first client phone call, email or instant chat to their return home. Booking accommodation, flights, car hire and transfers as well as all manner of individual requests, creating a truly bespoke service
Providing a friendly, considerate service is paramount to creating an excellent customer relationship ensuring that clients book with us time and time again.
Checking and sending final holiday details including accommodation & car hire vouchers, boarding passes, directions, and essential information.
Creating weekly manifests for suppliers and accommodation managers for all upcoming arrivals
Adding updates to our website which involves a beady eye for detail!
Skills and Experience
Full training will be provided in this role, but a passion for travel and delivering first-class customer service experiences is a must! You must also have:
Full UK Driving License and Passport for international travel required
Strong Literacy skills (proof-reading, grammar and fact checking, creative writing
Strong Mathematical skills (ability to check percentages, rent calculations, quotes and costings)
Computer literacy and basic Excel experience necessary
Confident, professional telephone and email manner
Travel experience is ideal but a passion is the next best thing!
Experience in sourcing properties and relationship building is desirable but not essential
After some time, should be available to travel to destinations to gain detailed knowledge of portfolio

Job Title: Travel Consultant
Location: Brighton – Hybrid working – 3 days in office, 2 days at home after training concluded
Salary: From £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Full Time: Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 6:00pm & Saturdays ad-hoc, 10:00am – 1:00pm
