TEAM LEADER ROLE IN BRIGHTON / HOVE / PEACEHAVEN

MUST BE DRIVER WITH OWN TRANSPORT

Better Healthcare is a leading Agency within the UK and are looking to recruit a Field Care Supervisor or Team Leader to work out of our Brighton Branch

Your role will be to support a team of care staff to provide care within the community. To observe, monitor and report any areas of concern to either the Domiciliary Co-ordinator and or the Registered Manager.

Main Responsibilities

To ensure that all services are provided in accordance Quality Assurance and in line with all company Policies and Procedures.
To conduct spot checks for care assistants and record
Provide shadow support for all new care assistants to their team and sign off as compliant
To provide general support to the service users, as part of the team, and with other services as necessary
To support care team with, and give care to all Service Users equally, irrespective of gender, age, race, sex, ethnicity, religion, political opinion, disability, sexual orientation, gender reassignment status or physical and financial circumstances.
To promote a service user’s right to privacy, respect, dignity and confidentiality at all times
To observe, monitor and report to the Domiciliary Co-ordinator, any significant changes in the service user’s health, mood, behaviour, and attitude, or changes in circumstances.
To participate in all required training and utilising learned skills in practice.
To record all necessary information clearly and legibly in line with record keeping policies and procedures.
To ensure that no tasks are completed unless specified in the Service User Care Plan and any changes made to the Care Plan are reported back to the Domiciliary Co-ordinatorExperience

Understanding of Domiciliary care service provision
Understanding of Regulatory Body functions and requirements
Experience in providing team support and Supervision in health and social care settings
Demonstrate effective and supportive communication skills
A commitment to working flexibly according to the changing needs of the service, including Oncall duties
