Masterclass Education are currently working with an “outstanding rated” independent Secondary School within the Brighton area that provides high quality education to a broad range of students from ages 11-18.

Role & Responsibilities

As a Teaching Assistant, your main focus will be:

* To support a wide range of students supporting learning, create a positive environment and add structure throughout the school day.

* Work closely to provide extra support to students who may have a range of needs, including but not limited to ADHD, Autism, emotional and mental health challenges.

* Help the teacher with lesson preparation and plans.

* Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons.

* Supervise students during breaks and school activities.

What We’re Looking For:

* Previous experience working with children, young or vulnerable adults

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to build positive relationships

* A calm and patient approach

* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
