About the role
As Senior Finance Data Analyst, you will work within our UK based team. You will be responsible for providing business analysis and insight to a variety of different stakeholders across the whole organisation. This will include analysis of large datasets as well as preparing and cleaning data, and designing and building interactive dashboards in Tableau.
You should be highly skilled in all aspects of data analytics, including querying large datasets, and best practice data visualisation. Additionally, you should be committed to transforming data analysis into actionable insights which can drive business performance.
We are looking for someone who will be confident in collaborating with departments across the business, proactively identifying opportunities by analysing data to understand how we can optimise customer lifetime value and unit economics, as well as driving a culture of excellence in data management and visualisation.
Key Responsibilities of Senior Revenue Economics Analyst:
Interpreting data and analysing results using statistical techniques
Identify areas of opportunity within the business, including through using data modelling techniques
Work directly with leadership and stakeholders to gather requirements, align solutions, provide status updates, and present findings.
Expanding our suite of company wide dashboards, with a focus on best practice and evangelise their use throughout the company.
Identifying opportunities to develop new reports and analytics to deliver insights and drive higher levels of business performance
Performing deep-dive analysis to gain insight into how our customers are using our platform
Development of our toolkit of internal pricing reports and dashboards, with a focus on automationRequirements
The Successful Applicant:
Minimum of 5 years' experience of data analytics, working with large datasets from multiple sources
Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization/reporting tool
Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Proven skills in Excel and SQL.
Experienced in R.
Python programming knowledge is preferred but not essential.
Experience with Big Data manipulation preferred
Knowledge of the principles of data warehouse design and the challenges posed by data quality
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adept at report writing and presenting findings
Strong commercial awareness, previous experience within an ecommerce or marketplace business preferred but not essential
Ability to set own priorities and take accountability for delivery to communicated timelinesBenefits
