Teaching Personnel work with many Secondary Schools in the Brighton and Hove area. One of our fantastic Secondary school's in the heart of Brighton are looking to appoint a Science teacher from January 2021.

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, creative and a suitably qualified teacher of Science to teach in a highly successful school. You will be passionate about Science, an innovative classroom practitioner with high expectations and have the ability to inspire students to be the best they can be.

The school is a community where every individual is valued and expected to excel. The school is based on the south coast in the exciting and vibrant City of Brighton & Hove, East Sussex. They have a capacity of 2300 students, including 450 students in the state of the art Sixth Form building. In return the school can offer a strong and supportive community of colleagues, students and parents, and a culture of providing regular support for personal and professional development.

Role and Responsibilities:

Starting January 2021
Science as a subject specialism
Development and improvement of Science resources within the department
Willingness to participate in the school’s extra-curricular programme
Competitive rates of pay
The Essentials:

Must be available for full time work immediately 
Must have QTS or completed PGCE – both experienced Science teachers and NQTs are welcome to apply
Must have suitable school-based references
Must have a fully enhanced Child Workforce Only DBS or willing to obtain one through us.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
