About the Role
Operating within the companies environmental arm of the business, you will be working on a long-term water framework in East Sussex. A Quantity Surveyor is required to assist the existing commercial team with 40-million-pounds of legacy schemes and 90-million-pounds of new framework projects. The opportunity here is to get on board with a 5-year water framework which will involve infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects ranging from £1-40m over the next five years. Whilst the head offices are based just outside of Brighton, the sites will be based all across the southern regions including Southampton, Portsmouth, and the Isle of Wight so having a drivers licence and own vehicle is essential. That being said, this role is home based so travel to site and to the office will only be occasional. In your role of Quantity Surveyor, your main responsibility will be subcontractor management however you will be involved in the entire commercial cycle.
The Ideal Candidate
Experienced Quantity Surveyor (Essential)
Water experience (Essential)
Experience using NEC3 forms of contract (Essential)
Full driver’s license & access to own vehicle (Essential)
Relevant qualification in quantity surveying or commercial management (Desirable)
Main Contractor experience (Desirable)
