Location: Central Brighton

Working week: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5pm

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 DOE

Are you looking for a dynamic role in a busy office environment? We have an exciting opportunity to join our client's team as an Office Coordinator.

This is a new position within the office and has been created to support the Office Manager and take ownership of all front-of-house duties. If you have a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service and thrive in a fast-paced environment, then this could be the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome all visitors, ensuring a positive and friendly experience from the moment they step through our doors.
Act as the face of the company, representing their values and brand to all those who enter the office.
Responsible for the signing in and out of visitors, issuing visitor passes
Efficiently handle and direct incoming phone calls, accurately taking messages and transferring calls to the appropriate departments.
Maintain all meeting rooms, ensuring they are clean, organised, and IT equipment is working ahead of meetings.
Assist the Office Manager with administrative tasks such as printing, filing, scanning, and preparing items for posting
Maintain a clean and organised reception area, ensuring a professional and inviting atmosphere for all visitors.

Desired Skills:

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage with a variety of individuals including senior stakeholders
Strong organisational abilities, with a keen eye for detail
Proactive and enthusiastic approach to work
Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
A good understanding of IT equipment
