Job Title: Site Manager (Bespoke Housing)
Location: South Coast (Brighton / Hastings / Hailsham)
Salary: £45,000
With years of experience in house building, this developer have built themselves a fantastic reputation within the housing sector, building prestigious houses in sought after locations.
My client is currently in the market for a Finishing Manager to assist in managing their development on the South Coast.
You be the finishing manager and manage the internals of the houses and apartments on this development. This is not a volume housing developer; my client has 5 live sites and 5 years of gaurenteed work for the future and their biggest development is circa 22 units.
My client will offer successful candidates a salary of up to £45k plus costs. (fuel ect)
The successful candidate will be able to manage the internals of the houses and apartments effectively, offering effective problem solving solutions. You will need to be a hands-on manager with and be cost aware of the site. This company has a low staff turnover and look after their employee's well. My client is looking for someone who will be committed to the company and is looking for longevity from their next move. Managers from a trade's background will have an advantage in the selection process for this role.
Your skills knowledge and experience required include but not limited to:
New build residential experience is essential for the role
Previous experience working for house builders is preferable
Strong communication skills
Ability to motivate and support staff
Ability to liaise with internal and external personnel

Qualifications and training – essential
CSCS Card at Site Manager Level
Valid SMSTS certificate
Valid First Aid at Work certificate
Qualifications and training – desirable
NVQ Level 3-4, BTEC diploma in Building Construction or similar
Valid Scaffold Appreciation certificate
Experience
Trade experience and site experience preferable
Up to date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation
Special requirements
Current full UK driving licence
