Join our team based in our Brighton office where you will provide comprehensive Health and Safety administration support. You will also be responsible for assisting the Facilities Manager with promoting and maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and environmental management across our UK sites. Please note you will be required to travel to our Eastbourne factory at least twice a week.
Act as a point of contact providing support and advise on any H&S related issues
Adopt and implement safe working practices that comply with current legislation
Prepare and review records such as company policies and risk assessments
Create and deliver training presentations and toolbox talks for Paxton Employees and contractors
Support the direction and guidance provided by the Facilities & Health & Safety Officer
Compile reports and general Health & Safety documentation for the company
Promote the continued development of effective health and safety practices and cultureRequirements
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Proven administration skills, including a working knowledge of Excel
Proactive and organised approach with excellent attention to detail
Previous experience working in a similar role covering safe working practices, policies and risk assessments
