Job Title: German Registration Administrator
Salary: £12 per hour
Full time – 6-month temp contract, start – end of May.
Our client based in Brighton is looking to recruit temporary workers to assist with the registration and on-boarding of applications. Ensuring they're efficiently processed, and that registration informational requirements are up to date. You will be working under the supervision of the Team Leader and Senior Compliance Analyst.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation most of the employees are currently home based, however depending on the team you will be assigned to, you may be required to work from the office (induction and training will be office based).
Working with the Team Lead and Senior Compliance Analysts on client communications for the GRS service.
Completion of registrations and onboarding to ensure applications are efficiently processed, and that registration informational requirements are up-to-date and submitted to the relevant tax authorities.
Ensuring all systems are fully up to date and other team members and clients understand their responsibilities and timelines for ongoing compliance.
Achieving key KPIs with regards to submissions and processing of VAT registrations received.
Ad hoc client research requests on VAT compliance.
Working with the Team Lead and Senior Compliance Analysts on delivering high quality registration packs to be submitted to the Country tax office
VAT related forms review for compliance purposes.
VAT registration application preparation.
Communications with applying companies to request additional information whenever needed.
Communications with the Tax Authorities needed to complete the application timely.
Performing ad hoc admin task within the assigned team (Vat related docs translations, trackers update, companies transfer process, etc.).
Training will be provided.
Fluent in German.
Good written, and spoken English is essential.
Attention to detail.
Good team spirit and work ethic.
Country / EU VAT compliance experience would be hugely desirable.
Office experience in professional services environment.
Graduate level candidate would be ideal.
Ability to produce highly accurate work with attention to details.
Strong organisational skills with excellent time-keeping capabilities.
Ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
Great communication skills.
Ability to adapt to changes and new situations.
