A new position has been created for an Electronics Engineer to join my clients growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will be able to illustrate good experience in a similar electronics design focused role and your core skills set will include: PCB design (Altium or Proteus desired), Analog circuit design, schematic capture and design for volume manufacture. Whilst any experience with power design (stepper motors, switch mode or low power motor drives), PIC microcontrollers or Embedded C is desirable.
The successful electronics engineer will be expecting to contribute across the full design life cycle and will be working within a small multidisciplinary team on the design of new products whilst maintaining and updating existing products. Strong communication skills are key as is the ability to contribute to design meetings and also liaise with non technical staff and customers when required.
The ideal Electronics Engineer will have experience with the below and be passionate about designing new industry leading products.
PCB design and layout – Proteus or Altium desired
Analog circuit design
Design for volume manufacture
Power Control and PID
Embedded C coding (8 and 16 bit)
Switching power supplies
Stepper and brushless motor drive
