Document Controller for construction site, including administration, secretarial, administration job in Sussex

Document Controller for a prestigious construction site in the Brighton area, working for the Main Contractor and managing the document control and administrative functions on site.
Your new role
Responsible for Document Control including – issuing drawings and information to sub-contractors; uploading drawings and documents;
Managing site filing systems
General site secretarial support duties including – Answering the phone, Scanning, Stationary; typing of minutes etc Collation of data required for Client O&M manuals.
Liaising with sub-contractors and client when required
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience working for a construction company in an Administrative or Document Controller role.
General administrative skills Willingness to work on a construction site. The offices are to a good standard and the project is an interesting and prestigious refurbishment.
Previous experience using a Document Control Management packages (for example 4Projects or similar)
Ideally familiar with processes for handovers, BREEAM and Considerate Constructors. Experienced with checking and uploading documents and drawings correctly
Personable and comfortable working with Managers, Clients, Consultants, general public and construction staff.
Competent using the Microsoft suite of packages
