Our client is bsaed on the outskirts of Brighton (connected via the bus routes) and is looking to hire an additional member of the dispatch team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has worked in a despatch or warehoue environment or who is used to processing purchase order and happy to undertake despatch duties.
Your duties will include:
Making calls to customers, suppliers, engineers and couriers.
Receiving calls from customers, suppliers, engineers and couriers.
Goods in – This will involve loading and unloading (Some loads can be quite heavy)
Ensuring internal systems are updated with any information received
Preparing quotes for repairs and replacement parts
Committed and hardworking
Good attention to detail
Strong customer focus.
Effective communicator, flexible and personable.
Good computer skills although a lot will be on job training on our bespoke systems.
Must work well within the team and be good at problem solving.
Would prefer someone with experience.
Starting Salary depending on experience
Hours Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17:00 – Friday 08:30 to 16:15
