You will be working for a residential service in the Brighton area, focused on supporting children with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs. My client is a lovely Owner Managed organisation, family focused with the need for long term Full Time support worker, on a temporary basis.
Your new role
In your new role you will be part of a team that is responsible for three children under the age of 18 who display mid-level challenging behaviour.
The position requires a successful candidate to be fully flexible to work a variety of 12-hour shifts, both Days and Waking Nights.
The children are very active and love to go out with Support Workers and be involved in a variety of activities in the community. The position requires a successful candidate to hold a full driver's license.
What you'll need to succeed To succeed you will need to have a high level of enthusiasm, commitment and resilience as you may face some challenging situations.
To be successful in this role you will need to be flexible for a variety of different shifts, as well as variety of day to day activities. You should have experience in the social care sector and have a desire to provide excellent care to the service users.
