Key Stage 2 teacher – Brighton

Prospero Teaching are working alongside this beautiful 2 form entry primary school in the bustling city of Brighton. They are looking to appoint a Key Stage 2 teacher on a full time basis from May 2021!

The Role:

Imagine working in a school that's bright, colourful and inclusive in it's teaching … are you there? Well, this school provides exactly that. You'll be starting this role in May 2021 on a full time basis (Monday to Friday). In this teaching role, you'll complete an already impressive KS2 team who are focused on preparing their year 6's for the transition to secondary school. With a heavy focus on creativity and exploration, you'll be encouraged to make your lessons fun, exciting and engaging, and let's be honest, who doesn't enjoy making the day a little more colourful?

You'll find this school just outside of the gorgeous city of Brighton, along various bus links and approximately 10 minutes from the A27. Supply Teacher Contract/Position Details

Location – Brighton

Position – Supply Primary Teacher (KS2)

Type of work – Class teaching, marking, assessment where applicable

Start date – May 2021

Full-time potential

Minimum rate of pay – £125 to £145 Per day

Hours – 8:20am-4pm (term time only)

Supply Teacher Experience, Training and Qualifications

It is essential that you have QTS and experience working in a Primary School

You will need to have taught in KS2 either in a permanent or supply cover role, or on teaching placement if you are an NQT.

Up to date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.

Strong Behaviour Management skills are a must.

To be eligible for any teaching job with Prospero Teaching, you must;

Hold the Right to Work in the UK.

Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application.

Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

Provide two professional child related references.
