Gi Group in Portsmouth are recruiting for an Administrator for our client, a local health care provider in the Brighton area.
– Temporary assignment (8-12 weeks)
– Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00
– £9.90 ph
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated administrator to work as part of a team, receiving incoming calls, booking appointments, responding to queries, taking and passing on messages and make outgoing calls to book appointments too.
Full training will be provided and for the right candidate, this opportunity is expected to last 8 – 12 weeks.
You will be working on site in a modern open plan office. The office has been COVID risk assessed and a range of measures put in place as a result, including reduced desk use to adhere to social distancing requirements and supply of appropriate PPE. We are not able to offer remote working for this role.
Educated to RSA 3/ NVQ 3 or equivalent
Proven experience of carrying out administrative duties
Experience of working as part of a team
Experience of producing documents to a high standard of presentation with good accuracy
Experience of maintaining office systems and using them to ensure efficient management of processes
Ability to deal sensitively with staff and clients in person and on the telephone.
Ability to communicate effectively face to face and on the telephone with people in a range of situations, both within and outside the organisation
Excellent telephone manner and ability to manage calls in a professional way
Display skill in active listening
Awareness of the importance of confidentiality – ability to work within appropriate boundaries.
Ability to use good judgement skills when dealing with enquiries and problems
Knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Intermediate level use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power point)
Fast and accurate keyboard skills (to RSA III or equivalent)
Ability to use computer equipment
