Job Description

We are looking for an excellent administrator to join our award winning team.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic team player, with the ability to prioritise and multi task various duties. They will play a key administrative role supporting a team delivering a wide range of innovative transport projects for the city.

 

About the role

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a team administrator supporting a team working on a wide range of transport projects. 

We’re looking for someone with excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work areas and meet deadlines. You will be responsible for communicating sensitively with a wide range of colleagues, service users and partners so the ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal communication skills over the telephone, face to face and emails.

The successful candidate will have good IT skills including the ability to work with spread sheets and databases to access, input, retrieve data to produce straightforward, routine reports, input/update information/financial data, process invoices and produce documents and correspondence using word processing applications. Duties will include note taking at management meetings.

The role will be based at Hove Town Hall, Norton Road.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency's Points-based Immigration System.
