Join our client's dynamic team as an HR Administrator. As an essential member of their HR Department, you will be the go-to person for general HR advice and play a vital role in administering employment-related processes. From recruitment and safeguarding checks to handling employee details and responding to queries, you'll be involved in a wide range of HR activities.

💼 Job Title: HR Administrator
📍 Location: Lewes
📆 Contract Type: Permanent
⏰ Hours: Full Time Monday to Friday 37 hour per week
💰 Salary: £23k – £25k dependant on experience

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

Manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring all necessary documents, certifications, and references are received.
Prepare and issue accurate contracts of employment and worker agreements to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience.
Handle changes to employment terms, pay, role changes, and other general amendments efficiently and effectively.
Maintain accurate employee records and data on the HR/Payroll system.
Input and verify data for payroll purposes, including worked hours, overtime, enhancements, and deductions.
Provide high-quality HR and Payroll support and advice to managers and employees.
Record and monitor sickness absence, escalate to HR Advisory team when necessary.
Handle administration processes related to various statutory leave types.
Prepare management information and reports as required.
Ensure all relevant employees complete DBS disclosures and rechecks when necessary.
Carry out general administration duties and provide support to the HR Department.📝 Skills and Experience:

Good working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail with an ability to handle sensitive information.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
