Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a Multidisciplined consultancy in their offices in Brighton. The successful candidate will be able to work on a variety of complex projects and contribute to their holistic approach to the built environment.

Role responsibilities include:

Help develop and grow the mechanical engineering team by providing solutions to projects and mentor the more junior members
Maintain current client relationship and help acquire new clients, business and opportunities
Produce sustainable and mechanical strategies for buildings and make sure quality design measures are met
Carry out site surveys and inspections throughout the construction phaseThe ideal candidate will have:

An educational background within mechanical or building services engineering
Chartership or working towards their CIBSE accreditation
Good experience within a mechanical and building services engineering field, with a successful background in designing projects through all stages of development
Experience with multidisciplinary projects and working within a team
