My client, a specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy which specialises in Flood Risk, Environmental Management and Drainage Engineering, is searching for an Environmental Consultant to join their friendly and fast paced team based in Brighton. It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in Hydrology including a BSc and/or MSc in Environmental Management or Hydrology and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments or Contaminated Land Assessment. Applicants are also required to have a keen interest in Flood Risk, Surface Water and Contaminated Land. It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally. This exciting opportunity will offer candidates the chance to join a friendly and innovative Consultancy who have a relaxed working environment based in Brighton. As an Environmental Consultant you will have the opportunity to join a bespoke team of friendly individuals to complete Flood Risk, Surface Water, Drainage and Modelling Projects for Private Sector Clients, Private Developers and Insurance Companies. You will also be required to complete the following; -Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Consequence Assessments, Flood Risk Reports for planning applications. -Surface Water Management Plans. -Flood Risk Maps using ArcGIS. -Drainage Strategy. -Contaminated Land Assessments.
