Systems Analyst (Travel) required to support a global organisation in Brighton, £25k permanent. Do you have a strong technical support background, enjoy problem solving, can communicate well with different software suppliers to ensure a smooth delivery of their travel booking, billing and reporting systems (KDS Neo and Amadeus GDS).
This is a full time role working 9-5.30pm Monday to Friday in a small IT support team, supporting internal colleagues with any technical issues that arise with regards to their IT travel bookings. The ability to think on your feet, patience, ability to explain complex solutions to non-technical staff, working with developers and business stakeholders to find solutions over the phone.
Strong communication skills are paramount, plus good knowledge of web maintenance, web server configuration in a helpdesk environment are needed. Input fixes, support and roll out activities for UAT, training and engagement. Ability to document technical processes in a user friendly way, through help sheets, webinars and videos. Working with travel management, finance, service delivery and IT to ensure office processes are aligned and that quality control, reporting and admin tasks are completed. Ideal candidates with have experience working in the Travel industry but this is not essential.
