A lovely Nursery in Brighton are looking for an individual needs assistant to work 1:1 with a child with additional needs. This role is to begin in September and will be a long term placement for as long as the child needs support. Hours are part time but can be made up with additional general shifts within the nursery rooms.
The ideal applicant will have:
Experience and/or knowledge of Special Educational Needs
A calm and resilient approach with the patience to empathise and understand the child's needs
Experience with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) age group
Previous nursery experience (or similar e.g. Babysitting/toddler groups etc.)
A genuine passion for working with and supporting children with SEN
The core hours will be:
Tuesday 8-15:45
Wednesday 8-15:45
Thursday 8-15:45
Friday 8-12:15
Pay is £11.16 per hour and is paid weekly, a week in arrears through our own PAYE system.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
