Given the success and consistent growth of our small works division, we are looking to add a new layer of management. The role will be managing project teams across multiple sites predominetly surrounding Brighton & Hove in the Sussex Countryside.
You will be expected to lead & support project teams in fast paced, high pressure environments to ensure contracts are being delivered on time and within budget parameters. You will be client facing and often the first point of contact for clients and stakeholders so it is essential that you are professional and presentable in all aspects of your approach.
The right candidate will have proven experience managing a small works division. Versatility and adaptability to change are key to the success of the role, Jobs may be called off at short notice and you will be expected to redistribute resources effectively and reschedule the works in accordance with the clients directive.
Daily tasks and duties will include:
* Managing project H&S documentation including CPPs and RAMS in liaison with H&S manager.
* Producing and managing project programmes and timelines.
* Management of directly employed staff and sub-contractors.
* Management of on-site H&S including undertaking of site audits/inspections in line with company standard procedures.
* Attending project meetings and production of various reports and project documentation.
* Contributing to planning of works, briefing project teams, contractors and suppliers.
* Managing and carrying out of commercial valuations on projects and agreement of project accounts
