Electrical Project Engineer Contract

We are looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to work on water projects in the Brighton area for a large, respected Tier 1 contractor. The perfect applicant will have experience working on projects within wastewater or water treatment.

Contract: Freelance

Rate: £350 – £380 inside IR-35 per day (dependent on experience)

Duties will include:

Working on water treatment plants and pumping stations, you will be coordinating the project on-site, commissioning and handing over to the Client.
Visiting the sites, running the project, coordinating teams.
Being the point of call for the Client.
Analysing technical drawings, interpreting specifications, and determining the electrical requirements of a given project.
Managing and monitoring all assigned electrical projects.
Completing quality assurance on all electrical components and projects, and writing up reports.
Using CAD software to draft designs.
Analysing and approving various construction and engineering plans.
Diagnosing problems and troubleshooting equipment.

Requirements:

Experience working within the Water Industry is essential
Experience in either Site Supervisor OR Project Engineer OR Project Manager.
Experience of managing and developing an individual or small team
HNC or Degree in Mechanical discipline or equivalent
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Computer literacy (MS Office + MS Project)
Problem solving / analytical skills e.g. root cause analysis, pareto
Planning and organisational skills
Ambitious and dynamic personality
First Aid
IOSH
Valid Full UK Driving License
