Site Manager Job in East Sussex (Brighton)
Education / Student Accommodation Fit-Out
Temporary – circa 10 months
Start 15th or 22nd August 2022
Rate: £250 – £280 p/day (CIC or PAYE Umbrella)
Our client is a highly respected refurbishment contractor that is seeking a Site Manager to work as part of a team on an education fit-out project in Brighton, East Sussex that comprises both the fit-out of education facilities as well as accommodation rooms for students.
This is a chance to work on a project from the very early stages and requires a personable individual, who has refurb / fit-out experience on projects of £3m – £10m in value, and ideally (not essential) has worked in a live environment.
The Site Manager would report into a Project Manager and fit into a team of another site manager and a quantity surveyor.
Site Manager Job duties / Key Attributes:
•Computer literate
•Plan, schedule and evaluate works
•Sub-contractor co-ordination meetings
•Manage Health & Safety requirements on site
•Excellent communication skills
Qualifications:
•Full First Aid at Work
•CSCS Card (Gold, Black or White)
•5 Day CITB Site Manager's Certificate (SMSTS)
