Job Description

Prospero Teaching are looking to recruit experienced or newly qualified primary teachers for supply work in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 schools in Brighton, East Sussex, and surrounding areas.

We offer day to day, long-term and permanent work opportunities to local teachers at local schools and have been doing so successfully for many years.

Typical cover teacher duties include:

Teaching classes using the provided lesson plans and mark any work completed on that day.
Adding value to the education of the children under your supervision.
Making sure all students are safe and have a secure learning environment.
Maintaining professional standards and following school policy in relation to behaviour management.Cover Teacher Requirements include:

Qualified teacher status (QTS).
A flexible approach to working in various environments.
Knowledge of current curriculum and good behaviour management.
Ideally some experience of delivering pre-planned lessons (although ECT's will be considered).
