Job Description

Title: Software Engineer in Test (SDET)

Start: December or January

Salary: £42,000

Location: Hybrid – Brighton 2 days a week

You’ll be joining a Global B2C business that has a decade of expertise in their sector.

They’ve enjoyed steady and organic growth over recent years, they take pride in the culture they've built with many of the team referring to the Development Manager as a ‘legend.’ This role would be superb for somebody that also wants exposure to data analysis, numbers and get stuck into exciting projects and help them on their journey. Quality and Test is of huge importance to the team and you'll have a genuinely collaborative environment to work in.

Technical requirements:

* You’ll need to be competent with JavaScript to fire up TestCafe which they use for Test Automation

* Ideally have experience with K6 for Performance Testing – can be trained

* They’re on .NET and VB, with JavaScript frontend

* A few APIs but nothing overly heavy. This is a monolith system you’ll be working on.

* AWS hosted

Behavioural:

* On Thursday’s the Development Manager usually treats the team to lunch in London

* You’ll enjoy face to face interaction with the team

* A good sense of humour goes a long way with them
