Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Technical Consultant to join our Managed Service Provider in Brighton.

As the Senior Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our customers, as well as developing, maintaining and troubleshooting our customers' technology systems. You will also be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our customers' technology systems, including designing, installing, configuring and testing the systems.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

* Providing technical advice and support to customers, including developing technical solutions for their systems
* Designing, deploying, configuring and troubleshooting customers' systems
* Developing and maintaining system documentation
* Providing training and guidance to customers on new software and systems
* Ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of customer systems
* Monitoring and responding to customer requests and queries
* Monitoring and resolving system performance and security issues
* Identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to increase system efficiency

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:

* Proven experience in a technical consultancy role within the Managed Service Provider industry
* Expert knowledge of system design, deployment, configuration and troubleshooting
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to provide technical advice and support
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Experience with Windows and Cloud operating systems
* Knowledge of networking and firewall technologies
* Experience with virtualisation technologies
* Knowledge of scripting and programming languages
