Job Description

Position: Service Charge Controller
Salary: £30,000 to £34,000
Location: Brighton – fully office based
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm
22 days holiday plus bank holidays and extra 3 days over Christmas period, pension scheme, company events

We are looking for a Service Charge Controller to join a well established property company in Brighton where you will assist in service charge year end reporting, sales ledger and other reconciliations such as property bank statements.

Duties include:

Producing detailed expenditure reports and corrections of posting errors
Distributing reports to property managers and raising any queries
Posting of prepayments and accruals
Monitoring of year end status, keeping accurate records
Responding to auditor queries
Finalisation of accounts and turning over of the period

You'll need accounting skills to include bookkeeping such as accruals, prepayments and bank with specific experience in the property sector with Service Charge Year End Reporting being an essential skill set for the successful applicant.
