CAD Technician

Our water construction client is seeking a CAD Technician to join their Brighton based team.

As a utilities contractor our client works with some great customers and this role would be working on a Southern Water contract.

Responsibilities

Produce as-constructed plans to client specification.
Carry out relevant site visits to establish current information enabling timely submission of as-constructed plans.
Assist Site Engineers in the collation of information recorded on site.
Create high-quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on designs supplied by Preconstruction Teams and designers.
Complete modifications to existing drawings.
Surveying / Recording of civils and cable information using a multitude of methods.
Analysing survey data and editing such in required formats.

Skills/experience/qualifications

An experienced CAD Engineer, who has lots of enthusiasm, excellent communication skills, is proactive, and a great problem solver.
You will be using GPS/EDM surveying equipment regularly, so it is essential have the ability to create and read technical drawings.
A full clean driving license is essential as the role involves travelling to site on occasion.Benefits
