Due to continued success, our established client is looking for a Logistics Team Leader!

Details of job:

Days: Monday – Friday
Hours: 07:30-16:30, with a 13:30 finish on Fridays
Permanent role
£28,000 annually

Job requirements:

Support customer service and delivery activities by coordinating and directing teams tasked with shipping, receiving, storage of goods and production replenishment
The shipping of all materials in line with Fortive corporate policy including Export Compliance, Export Certification, Import Process Relief and Commodity Coding.
The management and co-ordination of sub-contract materials and services.
Assist in finished goods label and manual printing.
Assist to improve internal materials processes for progressing, storing and handling of materials.
Delta and stock reporting including 3rd party warehouses as and when required to the Supply Chain Manager on customer back-orders.
Coach, mentor and develop direct reports providing them with regular effective performance feedback
May be assigned additional projects and responsibilities at the sole discretion of the Line Manager
Ensure Production has the materials it requires when it needs it.
Ensure dispatch runs efficiently and effectively to achieve Service levels maintained

Experience required:

Practical awareness of Health and Safety (including Manual Handling) and good environmental practices
Experience of SAP (or similar ERP)
Knowledge of problem solving and continuous improvement processes
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel/Word
Logistics and supply chain experience

Mentor and coach others
