Position: Logistics Team Leader
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm and Fridays 7.30am to 12.30pm
We are looking for a Logistics Team Leader to join a manufacturing company in the Brighton area to oversee inbound and outbound materials.
The Logistics Team Leader will:
Support customer service and delivery activities by coordinating and directing teams tasked with shipping, receiving, storage of goods and production replenishment
Conduct the shipping of all materials in line with corporate policy including Export Compliance, Export Certification, Import Process Relief and Commodity Coding
Manage and coordination of sub-contract materials and services
Assist in finished goods label and manual printing
Work to improve internal materials processes for progressing, storing and handling of materials
Stock reporting including 3rd party warehouses as and when required to the Supply Chain Manager on customer back-orders
Coach, mentor and develop direct reports providing them with regular effective performance feedback
You'll need experience in Logistics and Supply Chain, with system experience of SAP or a similar ERP as well as being able to demonstrate team leadership abilities.
