Job Title: Data Engineer

Location: Brighton

Salary: £55,000 – £65,000

We are currently recruiting for a Data Engineer to join a leading Telecoms company in Brighton. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining data warehouse solutions for the business, analysing and obtaining insights from data, and working closely with business analyst's to ensure the smooth running of data solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, and expertise in MS SQL and Azure Data Factory.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop and maintain data warehouse solutions for the business
Utilise data visualisation techniques and software to analyse and interpret data
Collaborate with other teams to ensure data solutions are effective and running smoothly
Troubleshoot data and system problems
Ensure data security and quality
Develop and implement data storage solutionsTechnical Skills:

Expert knowledge of data engineering tools, such as Python, SQL, Tableau, Hadoop, ETL
Knowledge of data security and privacy protocols
Strong knowledge of databases and data structures
Good understanding of cloud technologies and services
Good understanding of data visualisation techniques
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
