Band 5 Community Nurse Permanent

NHS Band 5 Community Nurse required in Brighton – up to £33.01/hr – 0.40p per mile – Temporary – Flexible

My client requires a Band 5 Community Nurse to work across Brighton area. My NHS client provides support to people with long-term conditions and their carers to actively promote health and wellbeing in the community; and where possible prevent admission to unplanned care/hospital.

You would be going from one house to another to help housebound patients who have long-term health condition or frail elderly patients that need support.

Registered Nurse Skills and responsibilities:
-Monitoring blood sugar levels and IV
-Wound management
-Administering oxygen
-Putting together treatment plans
-Overseeing a team of care assistants
-Liaising with GP and multi-disciplinary team

Registered Nurse Requirements:
-Hold a relevant nursing qualification
-Be registered with the NMC
-Have satisfactory references
-Community Experience
-Have the mandatory vaccinations
-Have the right to work in the UK
-Have driving license and own a vehicle
