Position: Account Director
Salary: Circa £45,000 plus commission
Location: Brighton or Hybrid
Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week
25 days holiday plus bank holidays and an extra day for your birthday, regular social events, commission and many other benefits
We are looking for an Account Director to join a well known and respected online community to work with higher education and digital, media, advertising & marketing agency clients to build and maintain strong partnerships, manage contracts and help to motivate agency teams.
As an Account Director your role will be to:
Develop senior level contacts across agencies and higher education partners such as Universities
Negotiate agency contracts and rebates
Develop and execute partner contact strategies
Be an expert internally and externally within the online advertising space and the Higher Education industry
Deliver engaging sales presentations to all existing and prospective clients
Demonstrate leadership and mentor junior team members
Develop annual strategic plans for each client in excess of £100k per annum
Set, monitor and execute personal and team objectives
Maintain excellent levels of market knowledge through networking, event attendance, trade press and more
You'll ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent and have strong experience at a senior level in client facing sales and account management, specifically within the Higher Education or Marketing / Media agency sectors. You'll need excellent presentation skills and to be a fantastic relationship builder.
