Here’s what you need to know about this job role:
* Providing personal care that includes bathing, dressing, toileting and feeding
* Promote the principles of Person-Centred Care through your working day
* Promote independence and support to your residents whilst maintaining dignity
* Engaging in activities with the residents through encouragement
* Recording of resident’s daily activities through paper/electronic logbooks
* Support with laundry, light cleaning, and other domestic tasks
* Any other tasks as directed by home manager
Requirements for a Day Care Assistant:
* Enhanced DBS clearance – this is provided by Bailey Care
* Previous experience required
