Operational Technology Manager | Brighton| Permanent | Up to £90,000 Per Year (Dependent on Experience)
Peaple Talent have partnered with a leading utilities business looking for a Operational Technology Manager.
Our client is looking for someone with prior experience of management within a specific focus in Operational Technology and experience with managing a team of managers.

The Role:
You will be primarily responsible for managing the delivery of services and changes; providing development, technical and functional leadership to support transformational programmes of works for key operational systems.
Based in Brighton (Hybrid) you will be reporting to the Head of Business Technology Services and be tasked with the following:
* Working with our client’s internal and external stakeholders for audit and compliance needs across Operational Systems capabilities.
* Line management of Operational Systems teams, either directly or indirectly via managers leading to achieve organizational goals.
* Accountable for identifying, agreeing, and embedding a performance management culture within the team with a key set of metrics whilst driving through continual service improvement.
* Accountable for the effective management of all Operational Technology Systems Applications, functional and technical resources directly and indirectly; working globally in a matrix management ecosystem to help ensure adherence to SLAs and agreed KPIs.
* Work with extended teams to optimize a consistent support model on a global scale.
* Accountable for leading and championing culture and implementation of agile and DevOps practices and environment for the effective and efficient development, delivery and support of Operational Technology Systems.
* Accountable for the quality, availability and supportability of the service delivery, working with colleagues across the wider IT & Data Department to deliver a 24 x 7 support service.
* Accountable for ensuring all governance and control is followed by their teams to meet service demand and project delivery.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Operational Technology Manager role will have relevant experience of:
* Demonstrable experience in creating business value through customer experience.
* Prior experience in management with specific focus on Operational Technology, with experience of managing a team of managers; particularly in a geographically dispersed and matrixed managed organisation.
* Experience of embracing challenges and displaying a strong creative flexibility whilst maintaining focus on the required product.
* Demonstrable experience in managing a global Operational Technology Systems support competency centre.
* Experience of effective management of cultural and organizational change.
* Encourage and implement strategies for achieving throughput maximization and risk minimization.
* Ability to function at a senior management level in an environment that is ever-changing, adapting to the demands of a growing and changing business.
* Ability to empathise and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

The Package:
Basic salary: Up to £90,000 per annum
