Sussex Teachers are working with a large infant school in central Brighton to find a full-time Year 2 Teacher. This welcoming and inclusive school are looking for an experienced KS1 Teacher to join their team ASAP, with the role continuing until the end of the academic year.

The role will involve full planning, preparation and assessment and you will be expected to take part in all areas of school life including staff meetings, parent’s evenings and school trips. You will work proactively from the school’s innovative curriculum to teach lessons that are inclusive and accurately differentiated. As you will hold responsibility for the learning and achievement of all the children in your class, you will be paid according to your scale (M1 – UPS) for this role.
To be considered for this role you should hold QTS status and be able to demonstrate excellent teaching practice and a sound knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum. You will have recent experience teaching in KS1 and have a good understanding of assessment strategies in Year 2. You will have boundless enthusiasm for teaching and show a clear commitment to putting children first. You will contribute to the positive atmosphere in the staffroom and support the inclusive and creative ethos of the school.
