Secondary Maths teacher in Eastbourne

Supply Desk are currently recruiting on the behalf of a Secondary School in Brighton who are looking to recruit a Maths Teacher to start asap until the end of the 2023 acedemic year. This will be a temporary position with the potential to move into a permeant position. You will be teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4 in a secondary school that was graded “Good” in all areas in their latest Ofsted inspection.

The role:

Full Time – Monday to Friday
You will be required to teach Maths to KS3 students.
Planning and preparing for lessons which cater to all students
Marking and assessment to recap or extend the students learning as appropriate
Following and promoting the school curriculum and pushing for highest attainment
Pay rates in line with teacher pay scale

Requirements for the role:

Must have QTS and experience teaching Maths up to and including GCSE
Willingness to take on some intervention groups and booster sessions
Strong behaviour management with experience working with SEN students
You will have excellent subject knowledge and a desire to provide the best education to all students
Will be required to apply for an enhanced Child Workforce DBS, if you do not already have one on the update service
