This role will coordinate the Staying Well Brighton and Hove service which is an innovative service offering out-of-hours support to people experiencing acute distress due to their mental health difficulties. This psychologically-informed service follows a crisis café model and is a model that we deliver across East Sussex. The service is staffed by a mix of paid Recovery Advisors and Peer Workers.
We are looking to appoint a full-time Service Coordinator to lead our non-clinical team based in Brighton. The role will involve regular evenings and weekends working alongside the team and coordinating the day-to-day running of the service. The Service Coordinator will offer line management, clinical supervision and reflective practice to the staff team. The Service is part of the citywide UOK partnership and the Service Coordinator will be in contact with relevant stakeholders to ensure the overall quality of the service and will assist in ensuring the service is meeting its stated objectives.
You will be closely supported in your role by the Service Manager and you should have experience in managing a team and delivering supervision to non-clinical staff.
