Your new company
This brilliant nursery is located in Brighton and is looking for a Nursery Manager to join them working on a full basis. The nursery is scheduled to reopen in the next few months with a brand new team, which is an excellent opportunity to manage a nursery team from the beginning of it's formation. The nursery will opened as an extension to the company who already has nurseries across West Sussex. They are a full time nursery, open five days a week, for fifty one weeks of the year. Your new role
Your new role will be working as a Nursery Manager. You will be leading your nursery team to deliver outstanding care to the children in the nursery. You will work in partnership with Recruitment and HR teams to create a diverse workforce and be on top of recruitment needs. You will act as a role model and mentor your team, ensuring the highest quality of early childhood practice and experience for children, including children with special educational needs. You will act as designated safeguarding lead, holding overall responsibility for the running of the nursery and management safeguarding and child protection policies and practices. You will also be responsible for the commercial delivery of the nurseries performance, ensuring cost effective practices in line with staff ratio requirements to meet and exceed the annual budget.
What you'll need to succeed
This nursery is looking for a Nursery Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will hold a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years. They will also have had experience working in an Early Years Leadership role, as well as experience leading Ofsted inspections, achieving "Good" or "Outstanding". You will have excellent team working skills, to work with the wider team to coach and mentor them to support the children in their care. They will need to be able to be creative and nurturing when supporting children. You will need to have excellent knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted requirements. You will need to have a desire and passion for ongoing learning and personal development.
