Flood and Coastal Engineer
Location – Brighton
Job Description
My client, is seeking an experienced Flood and Coastal Engineer to join the team in the heart of Brighton. They are currently completing numerous cutting edge projects designing innovative solutions for flooding in the coastal environment.
To be the successful candidate you need to be able to demonstrate:
MSc in Civil and/or Coastal engineering
Experience working on coastal projects
Be able to design fish passes , flood gates and seawalls.
Have experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Contractor as a flood or coastal engineer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver successful river engineering and/or coastal engineering projects.
Feasibility studies to detailed design for coastal projects.
Detailed design of: fish passes, sea walls, flood gates, weirs, embankments and revetments.
River Engineering.
Prepare technical reports.
