Position: IT Helpdesk Consultant
Salary: £22K starting salary rising to £24K after probation period
Location: Brighton and hybrid/remote
Hours: Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm (37.5 hour week)

We have an opportunity for someone with a keen interest in IT Support and Software to work for an IT Software and technical solutions company in Brighton in a Helpdesk or 1st Line Support role.
You will be given training on top of your experience and qualifications in IT to become involved in:
Supporting customers' IT environments and the availability of applications
Ensure high standards of customer service at all times providing 1st and 2nd Line Technical Support
Installing, configuring, maintaining and upgrading computer hardware, operating systems and applications
Performing analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of computer hardware and OS issues
Receiving and responding to incoming calls and e-mails regarding problems with computers, hardware and software
Setting up new users using Azure / Active Directory, Office 365
Resetting passwords and changing file and directory permissions
You'll need good technical knowledge of Windows OS, Office, Antivirus and Backup applications and ideally some experience with Office 365. Microsoft SQL experience would be an advantage too.
Strong customer service experience or skills is essential as is a keen interest in IT and Software. Ideally you'll have experience within a Windows based environment or hold relevant qualifications such as a relevant Degree, a Microsoft qualification or equivalent.
You'll also need to have a driving licence, ideally with your own transport, for attending client sites on occasion.
Hours are Monday to Friday between 8am-6pm on a rota basis plus an on call rota which will include one Saturday per month, paid as extra once worked.
The starting salary is £22,000 which rises to £24,000 after the probation period has been successfully completed.
