As a Field Sales Manager your main responsibility will be driving brand awareness and delivering sales by engaging with potential new customers at local events and at their premises as well as managing the field team with day-to-day, weekly and monthly activities; driving team KPI's in line with sales targets.
What will your main duties be?
Brand awareness and customer generation
Create excitement in the brand
Support with the recruitment, training, and development of Brand Ambassadors
Organising the daily activities of the field sales team and managing their performance to ensure that short-term and mid-term targets are met
Identifying training needs and working with the Senior Sales Manager to ensure these needs are met
Managing the team; conducting weekly 1-1's and performance management where required
Using CRM data to effectively highlight opportunity areas within the team
Participating and organising awareness and promotional campaigns, engaging with customers, attending events including community centres, shopping centres, outdoor events
Ensuring that the field team are following up on leads generated at brand awareness events, drive sales whilst maintaining brand image
Understand the customers' needs and bringing the products to life
Drive a pipeline of future customers by registering customer's interests
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
Comfortable meeting customers door-to-door at their premises and out networking in the local area
Effective communication skills with the ability to adapt your style where needed
A great team player who enjoys interacting with people
Experience in door-to-door sales, field sales, target driven retail sales or lead generation as a field sales executive or field sales advisor is essential
Experience in 1-1's; notetaking, managing performance and actioning performance improvement plans that have been agreed with the Area Sales Manager to improve performance and ensure that KPI's are met is essential
Experience in managing CRM usage and utilising data to manage performance on the field
