Hours – 8am – 3.30PM Temporary full-time until July 2022

About the School: 

Supply Desk are working with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Brighton who wish to appoint a committed and ambitious Geography Teacher to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 Science as a part of their excellent team. This role is full time and temporary with a view for the right candidate to turn permanent.

About the role:

The role will be full time Key Stage 3 and 4 in your geography specialist subject. The role will be teaching all elements of Science with time allowed for planning and marking. The school are looking for someone with excellent subject knowledge for all areas of Geography, good classroom management and a really positive approach to teaching and building relationships.

The ideal candidate will:

Have recent experience teaching in UK Schools
Be a committed team player
Proven track record of raising attainment
Be confident and adaptable to different environments
Have strong classroom management skills
Be able to deliver science in a fun and engaging way that students can relate to
