Senior Manufacturing Engineer Permanent

My client is a global manufacturer in the Semi-conductor industry based near Brighton they are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to work with the New Product Innovation teams and oversee products to manufacture.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of electronic assembly techniques and will use this knowledge to influence the design engineers in material choice and design and will also work with operations staff to create a suitable manufacturing area.

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will ensure that accurate Bill of Materials and Product Costs are maintained at all stages of the development process.

We would expect the candidate to have an Engineering degree and have worked in a product development role within an electronics assembly environment. We would also look at someone with good experience as a Cell engineer or someone who has knowledge of processes of Mechanical Packaging.

It is essential that any applicants have experience and good awareness of Printed Circuit Assembly techniques and SAP systems to enter and maintain BOMs and costings.
