My Client a large London based main contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity surveyor for a £6M new build project in Brighton & Hove. They are looking for a bright and driven QS to join their team who have long term work secured in the area.
Reporting to a SQS based locally you will be responsible for delivering one RC frame student accommodation block in Brighton. The ideal candidate will have main contractor experience and running their own projects having stepped up from an AQS position or be an experienced intermediate QS looking to progress to a Senior QS.
This position will be based on site in Brighton 5 days a week.
Duties will include:
Sub-contract procurement
Monthly reports
Attending project progress meetings
CVR's
Variations/ Valuations
Take-off's
Authorising sub-contractor payments
The ideal candidate will have either a degree or HNC/HND in quantity surveying
